Emissions & carbon footprint tracking

Emissions reporting usually means collecting meter readings, fuel records and invoices from many sites into a spreadsheet once a year. We build a pipeline that does this continuously: it monitors and estimates greenhouse-gas output and flaring volumes, calculates carbon intensity per barrel or per metric tonne traded, and keeps every figure traceable to its source, for the reporting your compliance team does.

The problem

Where it hurts today

  • Emissions figures are assembled once a year, long after anything could be done about them.
  • Flaring, fuel and energy data sit in different systems at every site.
  • Customers increasingly ask for the carbon intensity of a specific cargo, and nobody can answer quickly.

Data we bring together

  • Flare and fuel-gas meters
  • Continuous emissions monitoring, where installed
  • Fuel, steam and electricity purchases
  • Production and throughput volumes
  • Cargo and trade records
  • Emission factors and methodology choices

How Azico builds it

Four stages, each one usable on its own

01

Agree the method

With your sustainability team we write down the scope, the emission factors and the calculation rules, following the frameworks you already report under, such as the GHG Protocol.

02

Collect continuously

Meter readings and activity data flow in automatically from each site, with gaps and implausible readings flagged.

03

Intensity per unit

Emissions are allocated to production and to trades, giving carbon intensity per barrel or per metric tonne.

04

Audit trail

Every reported number can be traced back to its meter, factor and calculation, ready for internal review or external assurance.

What your team sees

  • +Monthly emissions by site, source and scope
  • +Flaring volumes against targets
  • +Carbon intensity per barrel or tonne, by product or cargo
  • +Data-quality log: gaps, estimates and their reasons

Questions it answers

  • “Which site is driving the rise in emissions this quarter?”
  • “What is the carbon intensity of this cargo?”
  • “Where are we estimating instead of measuring?”

What we need from you

  • Meter and activity data from each site
  • The methodology and factors you use today
  • A sustainability or compliance owner for sign-off
  • The reports you are required to produce
