Product purity & batch tracking

A batch’s density, flash point and impurity levels are measured several times between the plant and the customer, by different laboratories, stored in different places. We bring every certificate and test result into one record per batch, follow it through tanks, pipelines and vessels, and compare each reading with the contract specification, so you know a cargo will meet its contractual grade before it is delivered, not after a claim arrives.

The problem

Where it hurts today

  • Certificates of analysis sit in emails and PDFs, and comparing them takes hours.
  • When product is commingled in a tank or a pipeline, it is hard to say which batch went where.
  • Quality claims are argued from memory, without a clear chain of results.

Data we bring together

  • Laboratory (LIMS) results
  • Certificates of analysis and quality reports
  • Contract and grade specifications
  • Tank, pipeline and vessel movement records
  • Independent inspector reports
  • Customer quality complaints

How Azico builds it

Four stages, each one usable on its own

01

A record per batch

Every result for a batch, whatever the lab or format, is captured with its method, time and place of sampling.

02

Batch genealogy

Movements and blends are traced, so you can follow any parcel forwards to customers or backwards to the plant and tank it came from.

03

Specification checks

Each result is compared with the grade and contract limits, and drift towards a limit is flagged before the limit is crossed.

04

Claim file on demand

For any disputed delivery, the full chain of samples, results and movements is assembled in one document.

What your team sees

  • +Batch timeline from production to delivery
  • +Quality results against specification, with trend lines
  • +Off-spec and near-limit alerts
  • +Lab-to-lab differences for the same batch

Questions it answers

  • “Which tank did the off-spec parcel come from?”
  • “Are our results drifting towards a limit on any grade?”
  • “Do the plant lab and the inspector disagree, and by how much?”

What we need from you

  • Export or read access to your LIMS
  • A year of certificates of analysis
  • Grade and contract specifications
  • Movement records for the same period
